I photograph weddings, elopements and families across Vermont and New Hampshire. I’m also a licensed therapist, a mom, and someone who aims to get outside every day no matter the weather.

I didn’t plan on becoming a photographer. I’d been working as a therapist for years when a friend asked me to photograph her elopement. I said yes, and spent the whole day watching how people showed up for each other. I couldn’t stop thinking about it afterward.

VERMONT WEDDING AND FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER, LICENSED THERAPIST, USUALLY IN BLUNDSTONES

Hi, I’m Marissa!

Five years later, I still come home buzzing after every wedding. I still can’t believe this is my job.

Being a therapist shapes almost everything about how I work. I notice who needs a minute alone. I can tell when a family dynamic is getting tense, and when it’s time to crack a joke instead. I’m also really organized, because I’ve learned the logistics are the container and your energy is what goes inside it. When the container is solid, you get to just be in your day.

A few things worth knowing

I have a mini Aussie at home, so your dog is in good hands.

three

I’m Italian and very expressive, so you’ll always know when I love a shot.

two

I sang a cappella in college and went to jazz camp. Ask me about it.

one

I believe humor and heart belong together—which is probably why Ted Lasso and Schitt’s Creek feel so deeply on brand for how I approach my work: warmth, depth, and a little levity when it’s needed most.

Allison & Lucinda

“She's super warm and enthusiastic and a great listener, and took HUNDREDS of amazing photos on our wedding day!”

The values that guide my work

Real moments happen when people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Connection

I enjoying photographing realness-not what's forced.

Honesty

The kind that shows up naturally when unique and diverse love stories are celebrated

joy

Your experience matters just as much as the final images.

Presence

I focus on the moments that hold weight.

Meaning

My clients often tell me they felt calm, understood, and truly present on their wedding day. That’s the highest compliment I could receive.
